Welcome to the colorful world of gemstones! These words explain why gems come in so many beautiful colors.
- Elements – Basic substances, like iron or chromium, that make up things.
- Chromium – A shiny metal that can give gems red or green colors.
- Manganese – A metal that can add color to gems.
- Absorbed – When something, like light, gets taken in by a gem.
- Incandescent – A type of light bulb that glows warm and bright.
- Tones – Different shades or versions of a color.
- Hue – The main color of something, like blue or red.
- Variable – Able to change or be different.
