Edward Alton Designs, based in Houston, TX, was started by Edward Alton to bring his creative vision of nature’s crystals, along with handmade elements, into people’s surroundings. He designs and creates unique, one-of-a-kind, indoor and outdoor crystal water fountains and sculptures with crystals for luxury homes and the hospitality Industry. All crystals incorporated in his designs were hand picked by Edward, from the site where they were mined. He takes pride in incorporating these majestic pieces into his unique fountain and sculpture designs. His art is beautifully displayed in handmade, concrete, copper, and wood bowls.
“I have been designing molds and sculpting decor for 25 years. My current ventures to various crystal mines across the United States inspired me to create crystal fountains embodying ancient earth structures and the flow of water, along with geometric handmade bowl designs. My artwork reflects the beauty of our planet and what nature has to offer. I explore the symbiotic relationship between our planet and ourselves. I believe we are all divinely inspired. The subject matter of each body of work determines the materials and the forms of the piece. My art uses a common thread of material (crystals), while arranging them into new, conceptually layered installations. During research and production, new areas of interest arise and lead me to the next body of work.
