Bridal Jewelry Trends in 2024
3 Minute Read
Brides in 2024 are expected to be some of the boldest yet. Trend forecasters have revealed that brides will be reaching for more colorful, unique, and striking styles as they strut down the aisle. While these trends range from sparkling tiaras to brightly colored gemstones, the warmth of yellow gold and not-your-grandmothers-pearls, what they all seem to have in common is how they embrace femininity and individuality.
What we love is that within each and every one of these trends is a myriad of incredible variations and designs, allowing each bride to put their own elegant stamp on their big day. Let's take a closer look, shall we?
Tiaras
Tiaras aren't just for fairy tales anymore. This year, every bride can be a princess. In 2024, we're going to see more tiaras striding down the aisle than we have in a long time. While the tiara is quite a traditional piece, we've seen a rise in hair accessories over the last few years, so this trend totally makes sense. Plus, tiaras have this utterly romantic feel that's perfect for the big day.
Flower Motifs
Flowers in your bouquet, along the aisle and on your tables just aren't enough for 2024. No, this year, brides are taking the flower motif to their jewelry, too. We're already seeing flower motifs in fashion — on bags and clothing, like Chanel's iconic rose. But, the look is so beloved that jewelry designers just couldn't resist the trend, too. Be on the lookout for everything from floral statement earrings to delicate studs, romantic necklaces and floral bracelets.
Colorful Gemstones
White isn't the star of the show this year. In 2024, brides are reaching for colorful gemstones to complement their white ensembles. Rubies, sapphires, and most notably, emeralds are going to add a stunning pop of color to their looks. While brides more traditionally add pops of color to their ceremonies with flowers and other accessories, adding colorful gemstones to their wedding looks is a refreshing departure from the all-white and neutral looks that have dominated in the past. This year, we think brides will be looking to incorporate colorful gemstones in all sorts of ways, from statement earrings to pops of color on a necklace and sparkling, colorful, statement bracelets.
Pearls
Pearl jewelry has been completely revitalized in recent years. Once associated with more traditional, preppy and royal aesthetics, pearl jewelry has taken on a completely contemporary edge, now being showcased in all sorts of breathtaking shapes. From playing with different ways to string pearls to incorporating gemstones, playing with sizing, and a new reverence for natural shapes, we're seeing all sorts of beautiful, modern ways to wear pearls. Pearls have been long-loved white accessories for the wedding day, so brides are embracing the trend in 2024 with a lot of enthusiasm. Expect to see beautiful strings of pearl necklaces, as well as pearl earrings.
Yellow Gold
Leaning into the white of their dress, many brides have traditionally chosen to wear white gold on their wedding day. But, the lustrous look and feel of yellow gold has swept up many jewelry lovers over the last few years, and in 2024, we will see brides continue to wear their gold jewelry on their wedding day. Expect to see this trend across all of the above trends, being incorporated into pearl jewelry pieces, colorful gemstone works and a bunch of delicate, beautiful flower motifs.
2024 Bridal Jewelry Trends Are Bold
From the warmth of yellow gold to colorful gems, the 2024 bridal jewelry trends might be some of the best yet. Bold and fun, these trends infuse some real personality into the traditional bridal look.
